    The Hytera PT790Ex is the worlds first TETRA radio terminal that meets the extra stringent ‘ia’ intrinsic safety rating. This means the PT790Ex meets the very highest intrinsic safety rating that can be imposed on an i.s product!

    The ‘ia’ rating means the PT790Ex can be used in hazardous areas where an explosive atmosphere containing both air and combustible gases, vapours or mists are constantly present. In addition the PT790Ex is IP67 rated for submersibility and its rugged construction exceeding MIL STDS 810F/G makes this TETRA radio terminal the go to communication device for professional users.

    Safety of the user is paramount in the design with an integrated man down and lone worker alarm as well as accurate positioning via the built in GPS receiver.
