Barrett Tactical Software range encompasses software for messaging and command functions. There are 3 software packages available.
The Barrett 4038 3G TAC Message software is designed for strategic HF operators, either in the land or naval domain. It offers users a familiar smartphone or PC look and provides chat messaging and file transfer functions. Other features include:-
- Messaging over HF networks
- Chat interface, broadcast, point to point
- Compression, resumption and prioritization
- Text, SMS, Email, file transfer, form and report messages
- SMTP, POP3 email interface
- Delivery notification
The 4078 3G TAC Command software is designed for commanders. It employs standard NATO symbology allowing commanders to easily see where assets are located. It provides superior situational awareness and can be used with touch screen devices such as rugged tablets. Features include:-
- Situational awareness and blue force tracking
- Built in offline base maps
- Touch screen design option
- Text, SMS, Email, file transfer, form and report messages
The 4079 3G TAC Command Centre software combines both of the above software packages into one easy to operate suite.
