Description
The AWCSL DRC-1 is a unique and powerful communications controller which has the ability to control base stations from all leading manufacturers which is achieved by the user selectable line control protocols. Similarly, both standard and unique selective call formats can be user defined meaning the DRC-1 can accommodate users specific requirements with the minimum of effort.

Via the internal menu or PC software.
Recording Facility
Included as a standard feature is a local tape record output port. It is designed for an instant record and playback available from either the handset or headset.
Future Proof
With the DRC-1’s inherent flexibility, meaning it can be used as a stand-alone desktop dispatch controller. Similarly, it can also be used in the more complex switched based control room applications by connection to the DS-32 switch equipment.

Desktop Microphone
Can be purchased separately as an alternative to the handset or headset. A footswitch can also be used as an alternative to the operator instruments.
PC Based Front End
Particularly useful for busier control rooms. This is a Windows based application which can provide graphical representation of controller facilities and provides a higher level of detail call information than the control units built in LCD display.
Multiple Operation System Connections
For multiple operation systems, the DRC-1 can be connected parallel with up to 3 other DRC-1 desktop controllers.
Other standard features include: Selective calling, programmable function keys, FFSK signalling, additional accessory port, RS232 data port and common headset facility.
