R7Ex ATEX UHF Digital Portable Radio is the new intrinsically safe DMR radio from Motorola. Replacing the DP4400/4800Ex series radios. The Motorola R7Ex brings additional features and even smarter technology. The new technology includes AI trained noise suppression and a vice recording and playback feature for greater convenience. Also available is built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to permit indoor location services.
The R7Ex series are even tougher than the radios they replace. Built to surpass the stringent MIL STDS 810G environmental standards and submersible to IP68. Compatible with all the Motorola DMR Tier II and III communication systems as well as FM [analogue] signalling. A large 1.7in colour display with 5 lines of text makes it easy to operate in poor light conditions. The radio is designed ergonomically for ease of use if wearing gloves.
Currently available in UHF [IIA – 350-470MHz] and IIC – 400-470MHz].
