Description
PRC-2080+ VHF Tactical Radio is a family of VHF tactical radios available in 4 configurations – portable; manpack; mobile; base station. All are designed for use in tactical military and security operations. The PRC-2080+ is a portable tactical 5W VHF low band radio for squad level communications. It can be operated with the standard rugged handset or tactical headset. In standalone mode the PRC-2080+ will communicate up to 8km depending on local topograhpy.
The PRC-2081+ manpack solution offers greater Tx power of 25W and longer range. Specifically designed for tactical applications. It is fully submersible and meets the tough MIL STDS 810G environmental standards.
The PRC-2082+ mobile package is designed to be installed and operated from a vehicle. It adds 50W of transmit power for eve longer range and enhanced link establishment when connected to the external vehicle whip antenna system.
The PRC-2084+ Base station package can be installed across a number of temporary base and fixed command configurations.
