IC-M410BB/M510BB VHF/DSC Transceiver. The ICOM IC-M410BB and M510BB Black Box radios are designed for installation on vessels where helm space is at a premium. The design of the transceivers means that all functions can be operated via the COMMANDMIC. Transceivers may be installed remotely, up to 60 feet away.
The radios feature integrated AIS receiver to alert you to other vessels heading towards you. Up to 3 transceivers may be installed on board [IC-M510BB]. Useful safety features include a last call voice recording function which automatically records the last 2 minutes of an incoming call. Designed for use in high noise environments, active noise cancelling means there is no need to shout when speaking into the microphone.
