The Telo TE590 is a smartphone style PTT over Cellular [PoC] portable radio device. It combines the form factor of a smartphone with the functions of a digital 2 way radio.
Available as an Android device the TE590 is extremely rugged. Its large colour touchscreen display employs Corning Gorilla Glass technology and the device is rated IP68 for use in all weather conditions. It also exceeds the stringent MIL STDS 810G environmental testing standards.
Supplied with a multi network data roaming SIM card, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC [Near Field Communication]. In addition the TE590 is fitted with two cameras, one at the front and one at the rear. Sophisticated emergency alarms are built in to offer protection to lone workers anywhere there is mobile phone network coverage. The device is fitted with an advanced man down alarm that includes a g sensor as well as an acceleration sensor and proximity sensor.
