IC-SAT100M Mobile Satellite Radio. For in vehicle use, the ICOM IC-SAT100M brings one to many mobile communications to all other radios in the same talkgroup. ICOM IC-SAT100M benefits from truly global radio coverage . It employs the Iridium Low Earth Orbit [LEO] satellite network to provide communications coverage almost anywhere. In addition IC-SAT100M is completely interoperable with other radio systems including IP phone, WLAN, LTE, IDAS digital and analogue FM radios.
Flexible installation options allows IC-SAT100M to be installed in a vehicle or in a building using just a LAN cable to an external satellite antenna. Interoperability is provided with the VE-PG4 IP gateway available as an option.
