The Hytera PD405 and PD415 are both available in VHF and UHF bands. Lightweight and rugged, weighing only 260g with standard battery the PD4XX is a professional radio with some clever features including an embedded RFID reader on the PD415. The RFID reader allows for third party apps to increase the radio functionality. The PD405 and PD415 also benefit from an extended battery duty cycle of upto 16 hours. The PD405/415 utilizes the same accessory connector as the next model up in the Hytera range [PD505] thus making migration simpler and cheaper. The PD485 utilizes the same accessories as the PD405 and PD415.
