Description
Simoco DMR Coverage Extender. When used as part of an existing DMR radio network this is a low cost and rapid method of increasing the coverage of a radio network. Designed for use with the mobile radio installed into a vehicle. Used in conjunction with this the portable radio coverage may be extended. This could be where a portable radio user is in a tunnel or down a manhole for instance.
It may be used with Simoco DMR radios operating in either Tier II or Tier III trunking modes. The Coverage Extender can also be used to extend other radio features such as lone worker, man down alarms and GPS positions.
