The Simoco SRP9170/80 series possesses reliability and flexibility; features paramount in challenging environments. Built without compromise with a rugged chassis and conventional/trunked (MPT1327) operation.
The SRP9170/80 series is submersible to IP67 standard (up to 1m for short periods) and built to MIL STD 810 F ratings, protecting against a range of testing conditions such as temperature, humidity and vibration. With a bright and clear display, the SRP9170/80 series is suitable for use even in poor lighting.

Lone Worker
With user safety in mind, the SRP9000 series automatically triggers a sound at pre-set intervals if the radio remains inactive for a certain amount of time. This can be deactivated at the touch of a button. If there is no response, the radio sounds an alarm to other radio users to alert of danger.
Man Down*
To further heighten user safety, the SRP9170/80 series will sound an alarm to other radio users if the radio remains static for a certain amount of time in the case of an accident.
Programmable Function Keys
Where efficient communications are paramount, select keys on the SRP9000 series can be programmed to important functions.
Other features include: PMR, data messaging, CTCSS, DCS, Selcall, FFSK, DTMF, scanning, voting, signaling, programmable radio parameters, emergency alarm and multiple vendor accessory connector (including Motorola GP344 series).
